1984 by George Orwell was recently voted the book most people have lied about reading. Also in the list according to Spread the Word: Books to Talk about two thirds of people claimed to have read a book [...] We are offered them every few months and I see them in charity shops, always unread in fine condition. Not valuable but they sell quickly. My wife hates them, faux-leather, yuck.
